SproutCover · Cover the night

SproutCover

The 11 pm callout, handled. The on-call phone, quiet.

An AI receptionist on your agency’s after-hours number. It takes the caregiver’s callout, reads it back, logs it, and texts a confirmation. It rings the person on call only when tonight actually needs a human. Ours is named Sara; you name yours.

The night shift

Every callout used to ring the same tired phone.

We pulled fifteen months of our own after-hours calls, about 1,100 of them. Two thirds were transferred straight to the on-call phone, and among the transfers where the caller said what they needed, more than half could have waited until morning. SproutCover exists so the person on call sleeps through those, and still wakes for the one that matters.

What ships first

A receptionist, a rotation, and a feed.

The call gets answered, the message gets logged, the right person gets woken, and the office reads it all in one place the next morning.

Callouts

Takes the callout

Sick tomorrow, running late, cannot make the shift. The receptionist asks what it is about, gets the shift time, reads it back, and logs it.

Triage

Wakes a human only when tonight needs one

A client emergency, a caregiver who cannot get in, a shift already in progress: those ring the on-call person. Everything else waits for morning.

On call

Tap a name to change who is on call

A phone-sized page for your office, installable on iPhone and Android with a PIN. Whoever has the phone tonight taps their name; the next call transfers to them.

The feed

One card per call in your chat

Every call lands in Google Chat as a card, or in Slack as a post: who called, what happened, when the shift is, and a link to the recording. Urgent calls page first.

Confirmations

A text that says it is logged

The caller gets a confirmation text with what was recorded, so nobody calls back at midnight to ask whether the message got through.

Next up

Shift fill, on the roadmap

When a callout leaves a shift open, SproutCover ranks who to ask by familiarity with the client, reliability, and hours headroom, then texts them in small waves until someone says yes. A person confirms it in your scheduling system.

Simple, when it ships.
